Lotto By Text Service Guide

1 - When can I play LottoByText?

You can play lotto 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Please note that the cut off for any draw is at 5pm on the day of the draw. Should you join after 5pm of the day of draw we will endeavour to allocate your syndicated ticket for that day but we will be unable to guarantee your entry for the day, in which case you will be entered into the next available draw.

 

2 - How does LottoByText work?

LottoByText has partnered with Txt Lotto Ltd who appoints syndicate managers on your behalf to purchase and assign National Lottery tickets as well as validating and disbursing any winnings.

Playing the National Lottery and EuroMillions with LottoByText is easy. Simply enter your mobile number on the homepage to claim and take advantage of any free lines offered. You are given 5 free tickets within your syndicate in the next National Lottery or EuroMillions draw when you first sign up. On the day following your registration OR the day following the night of your draw entry, you will be charged for the delivery of the latest lottery result(s). These are sent to your mobile along with your claim reference(s) for the coming draw(s). Your syndicate may contain up to forty-eight other players. After the trial, your same syndicated rows will be entered into the next draws for free and you will be charged £1.50 per draw for receiving the lottery results and up to a maximum of £4.50 per week should you join the 3 draws per week offer. That way you need never miss a draw or results again!

Once registered, your syndicate rows and any subsequent rows will be sent to your mobile each week detailing your row numbers and Claim Reference ID (proof of purchase). Please keep this information as you need your Claim Reference ID to make a claim.

 

3 - How do I sign up to Lotto by Text?

Simply enter your mobile number on the home page so that we can send you your 5 free National Lottery syndicate lines and your weekly National Lottery results to your mobile.

Please note that to play the National Lottery through Lotto by Text you must be over 16 and be a resident in the UK or Isle of Man and be an owner of a mobile phone. You do not need to be a UK Citizen to play the National Lottery with Lotto by Text.

6 - How do I check if I've won?

After each draw is announced we will notify you of the draw results to your mobile. If any of your lines have won simply go to the website and click the Members Area where you will be required to enter your mobile number and Claim Reference ID. It is very important not to delete the text with the draw results as this text is like a ticket and has your Claim Reference ID.

 

7 - How and where do I get my winnings?

Once your claim has been verified you will need to enter your personal details so that any winnings can be dispersed to you. If the share of winnings is less than 60p then the claimaints will be offered five additional syndicated lines in the following Saturday draw at no charge. You will be able to make a claim at anytime for up to 30 days from date of draw only.

Disbursements of any funds will be made within 28 days. For any prizes greater than £1,000 you will need to contact the customer services centre on supporttextlotto.com who will take you through the claims process.

 

8 - Are my winnings tax free?

Normally winnings are not subject to tax but you will need to check.
